New Cleveland Monsters Head Coach Trent Vogelhuber goes one-on-one with Jim Donovan

“I’m humbled by the opportunity to be the Head Coach of the Cleveland Monsters. It’s a privilege to be in this position and it’s a responsibility I will not take lightly. Cleveland is home and we will do everything in our power to make our great city proud.”

The Dublin, Ohio native was drafted in the seventh round of the 2007 NHL Draft, 211 overall. After four years at Miami (OH) University, Vogelhuber spent seven seasons in the AHL including one season with the 2015-16 Lake Erie Monsters Calder Cup team.

After Volgelhuber retired from his playing career, he signed on as an assistant coach with the Monsters in October of 2018 and remained in that position until his promotion to head coach.
