CONCACAF Nations League Odds: USA vs. Grenada prediction, odds and pick – 6/10/2022

The USA will be hosting Grenada in the third match of the CONCACAF Nations League A, group D, where the US will look to start their title defense with a win, while Grenada are hoping for a miracle win in a game where they are overmatched. With that said, it’s a good time to check out our CONCACAF Nations League odds series, which includes our USA-Grenada prediction and pick we have laid out below.

The USA are riding a wave of confidence. After missing out on the 2018 World Cup, they secured a spot in the 2022 World Cup and now, they are in full preparations for the tournament. Dismantling Morocco and getting a good draw versus Uruguay are great results and they look to continue great results in the CONCACAF Nations League as well. Grenada bested their group in Nations League B and landed in this group with the US and El Salvador. They are not a premier team but could surprise anyone on their day. It will be an interesting match, even though the USMNT are huge favorites in this matchup.

As said above, there is a huge wave of confidence in the USA team before this match. They secured a place in the World Cup after a disappointing omission from the 2018 edition, but there are more causes for optimism. It is their young guns that have been playing out of their skin, giving USMNT a sense of what the future might hold. As Grenada are a weaker team, with all due respect, it should be the younger players that are given the chance to play – and they have shown they can perform.

The biggest reason why the USA could and likely will win this game is that they are just better. This is a team that just beat a World Cup team in Morocco 3-0, playing at home in Austin, Texas, against the 170th-ranked team in the world. This should be nothing more than a tougher training session for the US team, as they look to prepare more and more for a positive result in Qatar come the end of the year.
