Hearthstone Mini Set Release Date & Throne of Tides Cards Update

This will be the first mini set release for the Voyage of the Sunken City expansion, and like those in the past, aims to keep things fresh between major card releases.

The Hearthstone Throne of Tides Mini Set release date has been set for Wednesday, June 1, 2022. No set schedule has been shared for when the new patch will drop but previous updates have gone live at 10am PT on North American servers, and the same could happen this week. As this is a mini set release, there will be less new content than a usual expansion.

However, Blizzard has confirmed that the Throne of the Tides update will add 35 new cards, including four Legendary cards, one Epic card, 14 Rare cards, and 16 Common cards. Those new cards can be found in Voyage to the Sunken City packs, or gamers can grab the entire 66-card Mini-Set for $14.99 or 2000 Gold. The Mini-Set will also be available in an all-Golden version for $69.99 for those who are interested in unique cosmetics.

And for those hoping to unlock as many new card packs as possible, Blizzard will be hosting special drops as part of its Masters Summer Championship YouTube coverage. Starting on Friday, June 3, gamers will be able to earn up to two Voyage to the Sunken City card packs by watching two total hours to receive one pack and two more hours for your second. Time watched is cumulative throughout the weekend, so even if you can’t watch for the full four hours in one sitting your time will still count toward earning the Drops.
